Bill Connolly: Morris County High School Boys Coach of the Year

Bill Connolly, head coach of Mendham boys basketball was recognized as Coach of the Year by his peers! Coach Connolly is a four-time Morris County coach of the year award! 

Morris County Basketball Individual High School Awards

From the Mendham high school boys team, Kevin King (junior) and Brenden Brunnock (senior) were recognized with individual player county honors. From the Mendham high school girls team, Lia Manuel (senior) was recognized this past weekend with individual player county honors. 

Chester 5th Boys Travel

The 5th grade Chester boys travel basketball team won the Jersey Basketball League (JBL) travel championship!

Summer basketball is right around the corner! We are very fortunate for in town summer basketball clinics led by our hometown, best coaches in the state. 

Summer clinics level up players of all ages, are available to Chester, Mendham, and outside towns to register and are as follows: 

June: 28th Annual Chester Basketball Camp (Boys and Girls) Hosted by Coach Yank

To truly enjoy playing the game at any level, a player must be able to dribble, pass and shoot the basketball.  At the Chester Basketball Camps these skills and the game are taught in a manner that every player can learn, have fun and be competitive.

• Chester Shooting Camp: June 17th – 20th, grades 5th – 10th
• 28th Annual Chester Camp: June 24th – 27th, grades 4th – 9th

Both camps are for boys and girls at Bragg Elementary.

July: Mendham Boys Summer Basketball Camp Hosted by Mendham High School Boys Coach Connolly

The Basketball Camp at Mendham offers participants the opportunity to meet Mendham High School players and coaches. Clinic participants will experience skill development, player development plans, leadership development, video analysis, guest speakers, a campus tour, as well as fun games and contests. 

• Week 1 Skill Development: July 8th – 11th
• Week 2: Shooting Development: July 15th – 18th

Both camps are for boys grades 3rd – 9th at Mendham High School.

July: Mendham Girls Summer Basketball Camp Hosted by Mendham High School Girls Coach Miner

The Basketball Camp at Mendham offers participants the opportunity to meet Mendham High School players and coaches. Clinic participants will experience skill development, as well as fun games and contests. 

• Week 1 Skill Development: July 22nd – 25th
• Week 2: Shooting Development: July 29th – August 1st  

Both camps are for girls grades 3rd – 9th at Mendham High School.
